The child comes infront while praying Salaah
Question
We have a one year old son. When we (husband and wife) pray Salāh at home, sometimes the baby comes in front of us and sometimes he even sits at the place of sajdah. Can you please advise us what to do in this situation?
Answer
In the Name of Allāh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
The Salāh will not break by the baby coming in front or sitting in the place of sujūd.[i]
If you take turns praying so that one person can take care of the baby while the other prays, it would enable you to offer your Salāh without distractions.
And Allāh knows best.

وأما الثالث وهو مرور المار في موضع سجود المصلي فإنما لا يفسدها عند عامة العلماء [i]
