Mufti Faizal Riza Saheb
Question
Is the salary packaging halal concept to buy a car?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
We do not know what is the salary packaging concept. You are from Australia. We advise you to refer to Muhtaram Mufti Faizel Riza (HafizahuAllah) of Darul Iftaa, Australia. He is based in Melbourne and his website is: www.mufti-online.net
He is a competent and reliable Mufti.
And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
Mufti Ebrahim Desai.

Fatawa SA is an independent, read-only index of fatawa already published by Darul Iftaa Mahmudiyyah (AskImam). It is not a fatwa service. For your own situation, ask the issuing Darul Ifta directly.
