In Taraweeh, is it necessary to recite bismillah out loud?
Question
Asalamolikum Mufti sahib. In taraweeh prayer is it necessary to recite bismillah out loud?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is necessary to recite bismalah at least once in Ṣalāḥ al-Tarāwīh.[i]
And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
