Reading sunnats in the first Saff whilst Jamat is on
Question
Aslm mufti. Is it necessary to ready the sunnah before salah in the first saff? Some musallis come late and read sunnats there and the jamat starts whilst they still reading their sunnats jzk
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykumwa-rahmatullāhiwa-barakātuh.
It is permissible to read your sunnah salah in the first saff. However, if it the time of jamat is close, one should read his sunnahs at the back of the masjid so that he doesn’t create a gap in the saff.[i]

وأما أنه يصلي عند باب المسجد فلأنه لو صلاهما في المسجد كان متنفلا فيه عند اشتغال الإمام بالفريضة وهو مكروه، فإن لم يكن عند باب المسجد موضع للصلاة يصليهما في المسجد خلف سارية من سواري المسجد، وأشدها كراهة أن يصليهما مخالطا للصف ومخالفا للإمام والجماعة

ومن انتهى إلى الإمام في صلاة الفجر وهو لم يصل ركعتي الفجر إن خشي أن يفوته ركعة ويدرك الأخرى يصلي ركعتي الفجر عند باب المسجد ثم يدخل وإن خشي فوتهما دخل مع الإمام، كذا في الهداية.

فرض نماز سے قبل کی تمام سنتیں پہلی صف چھوڑ کر پڑھنی چاہئیں بعض لوگ پہلی صف میں پڑھتے ہیں ، بعض اوقات جماعت کھڑی ہوجاتی ہے ان کی نماز پوری نہیں ہوتی ، ان کی وجہ سے جماعت میں خلا رہ جاتا ہے ، اس کے لئے کیا حکم ہے ؟
جواب : پہلی صف میں سنتیں پڑھنا منع نہیں ہے ، لیکن جب گھنٹہ جماعت کے مقررہ وقت میں گنجائش نہ ہو تو آگلی صف سے پیچھے ہٹ کر پڑھیں تاکہ صف میں خلل نہ ہو . والله اعلم
