Question

Salam, so I forgot to put water in my nose during farz gusul, do I have to repeat my gusul or should I just put water in my nose?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is Fardh to rinse the mouth and put water in the nose in Fardh ghusl. If one did not rinse the mouth or put water in the nose in a Fardh ghusl, the ghusl will be invalid. If one performs Salah with such a ghusl, the Salah will be invalid.[1]

If one puts water in the nose after the ghusl, then at that point, the ghusl will be complete. It is not necessary to repeat the entire ghusl.
