Question

Another question: For a woman that studies Hafiz, can she hold one of these booklets when she has her Ghuid. If not, what do you suggest for a woman to do when she has her Ghuid while doing her Hafiz?

Answer

1. It is necessary to be in the state of Wudhu when holding each Juz. 2. It is prohibited for a female to touch or even recite the Qur'aan during her Haydh (menses). A female doing Hifz should resume her Hifz after her Haydh.

Ask AskImam

Fatawa SA is an independent, read-only index of fatawa already published by Darul Iftaa Mahmudiyyah (AskImam). It is not a fatwa service. For your own situation, ask the issuing Darul Ifta directly.
