Sajdah Tilaawat In A Hifz Class
Question
In Hifdh classes, students learn on their places and also go to their teacher to read. Will that be classed as two separate Majlis and make two Sajdah wajib or only one?
Answer
If it is a normal classroom then only one Sajdah will be compulsory as long as the student does not do any action between him reading the verse in his place and him reading the same verse in front of the teacher which would be regarded as unrelated to his recitation of the Quran such as speaking, or eating and drinking in excess.
