Letting Out Property For The Storage Of Liquor
Question
Is it permissible to let out ones property to a company that wants to use the place for the storage and distribution of liquor? The liquor is manufactured elsewhere.
Answer
It will not be permissible to let out one’s property for the storage of liquor as this is tantamount to assisting in the disobedience of Allah Ta’ala which is prohibited in the Quraan Sharif. Allah Allah Ta’ala states in the Quraan Sharif, “And do not assist each other in sin and transgression.”
