Shaving The Hair Of A Baby On The Seventh Day
Question
As we know it is Mustahab to shave the hear of a new born Baby on the 7th , 14th or 21st day after birth so what about a baby of 2 month (meaning the parents didn’t shave the hear on that time ) can we still do it ?
Answer
Shaving the head of the baby on the 7th day is Mustahab (an act that is preferable). It is not Waajib (obligatory) to shave the head of the baby on that particular day, thus the hair can be shaved at a later stage as well, even after 2 months (as queried by you).
