A Musaafir (Traveller) Performing Qurbaani
Question
If a person is musaafir on the day of eid but decides to do qurbaani, will this qurbaani be regarded as nafl or waajib. If he then returns home before the end of the 3 days of eid, will he have to repeat the qurbaani?
Answer
The Qurbani will be regarded as Nafl but will not have to be repeated even though one becomes a Muqeem during the days of Qurbani. In other words, his Qurbani carried out during Safr will suffice for his Waajib Qurbani.
