Using Money Kept As Amaanat
Question
I have as Amaanats large sums of money. Can I use it in my business and as the owners require it I give it to them?
Answer
Monies left with you as Amaanat for safekeeping cannot be utilized in your business. These funds
should be kept safely and returned to the respective owners when requested.
However, if the owners
consent to you utilizing their funds in your business (after taking their permission), then there is no harm in using the funds. It then becomes a loan.
