Discharging Zakaat To An Adopted Child

Please advise me whether a father or mother can give their Zakaat money to their adopted children if they are entitled to Zakaat.
Answer
Yes, a needy and understanding adopted child is eligible to receive Zakaat from his/her adoptive parents.
