Slaughtering An Animal Which Is Blind In One Eye For Qurbaani
Question
Is it permissible to slaughter an animal that is blind in one eye but the sight is perfect in the other?
Answer
It is not permissible to slaughter an animal that is blind in one eye for Qurbani.

( وَلَا يُضَحَى بِالْعَمْيَاءِ وَلَا الْعَوْرَاءِ وَلَا الْعَرْجَاءِ الَّتِي لَا تَمْشِي إِلَى الْمَنْسَكِ ( وَهُوَ الْمَذْبَحُ ( وَلَا بِالْعَجْفَاءِ ) لِقَوْلِهِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ { لَا يُجْزِئُ فِي الصَّحَايَا أَرْبَعٌ الْعَوْرَاءُ الْبَيِّنُ عَوَرُهَا ، وَالْعَرْجَاءُ الْبَيِّنُ عَرَجُهَا ، وَالْمَرِيضَةُ الْبَيِّنُ مَرَضُهَا ، وَالْعَجْفَاءُ الَّتِي لَا تُنْقِي } أَيْ لَا نِقْيَ لَهَا وَهُوَ الْمُخُ لِشِدَّةِ الْهُزَالِ
