Lahad (Recessed-Grave) vs Shiqq (Trench-Grave)
Question
Which type of grave is more virtuous, Lahad or Shiqq?
Answer
Lahad (recessed-grave) is Sunnah and, therefore, better than the trench-grave.
However, where the ground is very soft and there is a fear of the grave collapsing, the trench-grave (Shiqqi) should be dug.
