Slaughtering an animal with a cut tail for Qurbani
Question
(1) If the tail of the Qurbani animal was cut, what is the ruling? Was the Qurbani accepted or not?
(2) If not, then what is the ruling?
Answer
If more than one third of the tail was cut, the Qurbani was not valid.
Since the days of Qurbani have already passed, you will have to give the value of the animal in Sadaqah to the poor. You cannot slaughter an animal after the days of Qurbani have elapsed.
