Urine drops-Istibraa
Question
After urinating and pressing the head of the male organ, I notice very small drops emerging. Kindly advise how to overcome this, as it takes very long for the urine to clear?
Answer
We suggest that you slightly press along the penis to remove any remaining urine drops after relieving yourself. This is referred to as ‘Istibraa.’ Other ways of removing remaining urine drops is by coughing, lying on the left side, or taking a few steps after Istinja. Hence, after removing the remaining urine drops from the penis by pressing along the penis and washing yourself, you should attach some tissue on the head of the penis, take a short walk and return to the bathroom. If any drops emerge, then you should wash yourself and proceed for Wudhu.
You should refrain from entertaining unnecessary doubts, particularly if no drops have emerged. These doubts are from Shaytaan and lead one to despondency; hence you should ignore the Shaytaani thoughts.
