Sihr
Question
A person is aware of family members who used to do black magic and he is aware of family members who suffer from jealousy (may Allah forgive and guide them). How could he be certain if they have made Sihr on him? Are there signs to show that one is affected by Sihr? Can marriage proposals being blocked, or frequent car trouble, or chronic health issues be a result of Sihr? Lastly, what can be recited to combat Sihr?
Answer
Sihr can affect a person in various ways. However, the important thing is to protect oneself from Sihr, or to be cured from it if one is already affected. There is nothing more superior than reciting the various verses of the Quraan Sharif. The verses to combat Sihr have been compiled in the ‘Manzil’, hence it should be recited daily.
