Spaces Between the Sufoof
Question
In Masjidun Nabawi and Masjidal Haram, if there is a gap of more than two rows between people standing in the front row during Jamaat Salaah, will the prayer still be valid?
Answer
Yes, Salaah will be valid as the Masjid is considered as one place. However, to perform Salaah with gaps in front is Makrooh. Hence, one should first fill the gaps before commencing Salaah.
