Sitting in Sunnah Salaah
Question
If a person commences his Sunnah Salaah while standing, can he read the second Rakaat in a sitting posture due to difficulty in standing?
Answer
Yes, it is permissible.

فصل في صلاة النفل جالسا والصلاة على الدابة
يجوز النفل قاعدا مع القدرة على القيام لكن له نصف أجر القائم إلا من عذر ويقعد كالمتشهد في المختار وجاز إتمامه قاعدا بعد افتتاحه قائما بلا كراهة على الأصح
