Brokerage Fee For Company Involved In Interest
Question
Would it be permissible to broker a deal between two companies who deal in interest for a brokerage fee?
Answer
If the nature of the company and their investments is of a Halaal nature, then it will be permissible render your service to them with the proviso that 51% or more of their income is from Halaal sources. However, if the dominant source of their income is from Haraam sources such as interest, then it will not be permissible.
