Can a women recite quran during Haidh

In the Name of Allāh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

In principle, a woman in haid (menstruation) is not permitted to recite the Qur’ān whether from memory, using a copy of the Qur’ān or an electronic device. This prohibition is clearly stated in a hadīth. Rasūlullah (sallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) has stated:

Translation: A woman who is her haid (menstruation) and a person who is in the state of janābat (major impurity) should not recite anything from Qur’ān.

However, it is permissible for a woman in menstruation to engage in dhikr and du‘ā’. As such, she may recite those verses of the Qur’ān which are in the context of a du‘ā’, such as Sūrah Fātihah, Āyat al-Kursī, etc. However, the intention should be of du‘ā’ and not to recite the Qur’ān.
