Dogs saliva
Question
If the saliva of the dog came into contact with you clothes. What is the ruling?
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
If the saliva of the dog soiled ones clothes and the soiled area is more than three centimetres in diameter, the clothes will become najis and impure.1The soiled area must be washed three times to make it taahir and clean.
