Question
Q: What is the virtue of spending on one’s family on the day of Aashura?
Answer
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam said: “Whoever is generous to his family on the day of Aashura, Allah Ta’ala will be generous to him throughout the year.” (Shu’ab al-Iman #3537)
