Insect killers
Question
Is it permissible to use an electric/electronic device to kill off insects such as cockroaches, ants etc. Presumably such devices have a heating element under a plate and insects are literally roasted to death or simply electrocuted.
Answer
Yes.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Fatawa SA is an independent, read-only index of fatawa already published by Mufti Online — Madrasah Ta'leemuddeen. It is not a fatwa service. For your own situation, ask the issuing Darul Ifta directly.
