Receiving $1 free credit when purchasing online
Question
If I have purchased something from an online company and have been told that I have been given a $1 free credit because the item I bought was a selected item for a free credit promotion but I was not aware of any promotion when I bought it. Is this $1 haraam for me and if I can't get rid of it how should I proceed?

It is halaal.
