Question
What was the reply of Moulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi to that person who explained to him about his dream in which he read the kalima shareef as "Ashraf Ali Rasulullah"?
Answer
Dreams etc. have no significance. It does not have any bearing on the shari`ah. It is only the dream of a nabi that can be held as a proof or as an argument.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
