Imaam sitting on the floor and leading the Salaah
Question
Can a person sitting on the floor lead the salaah with jamaat? What about if sitting on a chair?
Answer
1. If one is unable to perform the Salaah standing, it will be permissible for him to lead the Salaah while sitting on the ground.
2. It is not permissible to lead the Salaah while seated on a chair.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
