Keeping spiders as pets
Question
Is it permissible to keep spiders as pets?
Answer
Life is very precious. Don't waste your life with this type of futile hobbies. Unfortunately, some white person has to start off something silly and we will want to ape him like monkeys. They don't have a purpose in life. Their goal is vain and futile activities. Eventually, we also become useless liabilities like them.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Fatawa SA is an independent, read-only index of fatawa already published by Mufti Online — Madrasah Ta'leemuddeen. It is not a fatwa service. For your own situation, ask the issuing Darul Ifta directly.
