Females taking bay'at
Question
Can an unmarried girl have bay'at with a sheikh without the permission of her father, provided she doesn't keep rabita with the sheikh directly but through some halaal source?
Answer
On account of the abundance of fitnah and suspicion, it is best that she does the bay`at with the approval and knowledge of her parents. They should always be watching the correspondence.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
