The number of talaaq decreasing despite revoking the talaaq
Question
I had pronounced the first talaaq as a warning to my wife but then revoked it. My friend says that though my talaaq is valid, it will not count as the first talaaq because I have revoked it. Please inform me if after revoking the talaaq, do I still have three talaaqs or I only have two talaaqs remaining.
Answer
This is not correct. Through you revoking the talaaq, your wife will enter into your nikaah, however you will only have two talaaqs remaining.
