Keeping the name "Hannah"
Question
I would like to know if the name Hannah is a good name. I love the story of Hannah (R.A) but have heard that it doesn't have a good meaning. Please advise.
Answer
Yes.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Fatawa SA is an independent, read-only index of fatawa already published by Mufti Online — Madrasah Ta'leemuddeen. It is not a fatwa service. For your own situation, ask the issuing Darul Ifta directly.
