Accepting a gift from a banker
Question
My father is a banker. On my wedding day, he gave me gold as a gift. Is that gold halaal for me?
Answer
If he has many forms of income and he has used his halaal income to purchase the gold then it is permissible for you to use it.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
