Hurmat-e-musaaharah
Question
If a person doesn't carry out any rule of Shar'iah e.g. if a person commits hurmat-e-musaharaah and doesn't confess, according to fatawa mahmoodiyah he will be sinful but if he makes sincere taubah and doesn't do it again, in the court of Allah Ta'ala will he be taken to task i.e: Will he be given punishment or will he be forgiven?
Answer
Taubah requires one to leave out the sin. One cannot take alcohol continuously and make istighfaar without leaving it out. Hence, after hurmate-musaaharat he should leave his wife.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Fatawa SA is an independent, read-only index of fatawa already published by Mufti Online — Madrasah Ta'leemuddeen. It is not a fatwa service. For your own situation, ask the issuing Darul Ifta directly.
