Gifts for the newborn baby
Question
My wife gave birth to a baby girl a month ago. People have been giving gifts and others have been giving money. To whom does the money belong and what do we do with it?
Answer
Generally on the occasion when a child is born, money, gifts, etc are given for the child unless stated otherwise.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
