Greeting non-Muslims
Question
1. Is it permissible to greet with words: good morning?
2. Is it permissible to greet with words Hello?
3. Is it permissible to greet with words sawubona or molo?
Answer
1 - 2. Avoid using words which contain non-Muslim connotations.
3. As far as we understand 'sawubona' is 'how are you?' If this is the meaning then it is permissible.
