Question

What are the ways in which we can serve and please our parents?

Answer

We are commanded in Shari'ah to serve our parents, be kind to them and to see to their welfare at all times.

When speaking to them, we should speak with respect and adopt an approach of softness and humility.

We should ensure that we do not cause any inconvenience or pain to them at anytime through our words, actions, behavior or even through our facial expressions.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
