Falsely accusing someone
Question
Is it true that falsely accusing someone is worse than committing zina with one's own mother in front of the Ka'baa Shareef? If however it is true, please provide reference.
Answer
Falsely accusing someone is a major sin in Islam and the consequences in the hereafter for such a crime is extremely grave. However we have not come across the statement mentioned in the question recorded in any Hadith.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
