Using zakaat to purchase a water cooler
Question
Can Zakaat be discharged to build electric water cooler in grave yard or any other public places so people can drink cold water during intense weather?
Answer
No, zakaat has to be given to a poor Muslim who is a recipient of zakaat.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
