Buying wheelchairs for a hospital with zakaat money
Question
Can Zakaat be discharged to buy wheel chairs and distribute in the hospital so disabled people can use those wheelchairs?
Answer
No, zakaat has to be given to a poor Muslim who is a recipient of zakaat.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
