Did Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) engage in jihaad with the sahaaba?

My question is did the Prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) engage in jihaad with the Sahaaba? If so, how many of the mushrikeen did he kill?
Answer
Yes.
There is no record of him killing anybody though he used to be in the forefront in every jihaad.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
