Is Qurbaani waajib on a Haaji?
Question
Does a Hajee have to do an additional Qurbaani even if one is being done during his Hajj?
Answer
If one is a musaafir, Qurbaani is not waajib. If one is not a musaafir and qurbaani is waajib upon him, then one may make the Qurbaani in Makkah Mukarramah or in any other place. The Dam-e-Shukar that is slaughtered by the one carrying out Tamattu Hajj or Qiraan Hajj will not suffice for the waajib Qurbaani.
