Seller giving the purchaser a discount due to the item being damaged
Question
I bought something from a person and then saw that it was slightly damaged. When I complained to the seller, he offered me a discount. Can I accept the discount?
Answer
It is permissible.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
