Gaining knowledge
Question
I have heard people say that it is important to gain knowledge in Islam. Is it true? Which knowledge does it refer to, secular or religious? Why?
Answer
It is important to gain knowledge of the obligations and sunnats of deen as well as the prohibitions and undesirable acts in deen.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
