SalaahSafarImaamat and Jamaat Salaah for a Traveller

Question

Could you elaborate on the rules pertaining to Salaah being performed in the haram of Mecca and Medina.

A person staying in each place for a maximum of 7 days each and then returning to South Africa.

A person staying in Medina for 10 days and then Mecca for 10 days

Answer

If you are performing the namaaz behind the imaam then you will read the namaaz as the imaam performs them. However if you are reading it individually or behind a person who is a musaafir like yourself then you will make qasr.

As above.
