Kingclip
Question
Regarding the creatures of the ocean, kingklip is a species of cusk eel which lack scales. What is the shariah view on the permissibility of such? Furthermore, if not halaal, what about contamination and eating at an outlet that cooks/serves kingklip?
Answer
If it comes under the category of fish then it is permissible to eat it.
You may eat if you know it is not going to be contaminated with other foods.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
