Inheritance
Question
We are 6 sisters, father died. He has 1 mother and 1 sister who is widowed and has 3 grown sons. She lives with her sons. In regards to inheritance. What is the share between all of these.
Answer
The estate will be divided into 18 equal shares and distributed as follows:
Each daughter will receive 2 shares
The mother will receive 3 shares
The sister will receive 3 shares
The sister's sons do not inherit.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
