Marrying two sisters at the same time
Question
My question is marrying two sisters at same time is not allowed in Islam. If Islam allowed a Muslim to marry maximum of four women, then why it is not permissible to marry his wife's sister. What is the logic behind it. I think two sister can live more happily then others.
Answer
This is haraam. The Qur'an and Hadith have prohibited marrying two sisters at the same time.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
