Without marriage, how did Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) have a child with Maariya qibtiyyah (Radiyallahu Anha)?
Answer
The Qur'aan Shareef explains the two different avenues for a legitimate relationship. One is the wife and the other is the slave woman.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
