Question

I have a fourteen year old daughter. Does Mufti saheb advise me to send her for Aalima classes (day classes) or should I teach her at home. If so, what kitaabs can I teach her? I feel the aalima classes have become such that if one's daughter is not going to school, she still has to be 'studying' something. If you tell people your daughter is at home, it's like a disgrace. Please advise.

Answer

The best for a girl is that she should be tutored at home and trained in seeing to domestic responsibilities.

Bahishti Zewar is an excellent guide, preferably in Urdu.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Ask Mufti Online

Fatawa SA is an independent, read-only index of fatawa already published by Mufti Online — Madrasah Ta'leemuddeen. It is not a fatwa service. For your own situation, ask the issuing Darul Ifta directly.
