Being in contact with a non-mahram
Question
Is it haraam to be friends with opposite sex?
Answer
In Islam it is impermissible for a non-mahram male and female to be in contact or to have a casual relationship with each other. Apart from this being impermissible, this type of contact generally leads to many wrongs and sins taking place.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
